| New to the boards Hi all, I joined these boards a few days ago and just noticed this introduce yourself part, so i thought i would introduce myself. My name is Nathan, i live in Queensland Australia. but i grew up in New South Wales, my family has always lived on the land. Dad moved us to the city (Newcastle) when i was a kid but the rest of the family stayed farming, my grandfather, uncles ect. So all my spare time was spent there. I fired my first shot when i was 5 yrs old, and been hooked ever since. When i left school i went to work on my uncles 6500 acre cattle property for a year and a half, then went to work as a plant operator, dozer, loader, excavator, compactor and dump trucks. I did that until 3-3-05 when i was riding to work and had a loaded semi trailer pull across 7 lanes of traffic in front of me, i went under the back wheels of the trailer. Now 2 years on im not too far off trying to return to work, and still love my hunting just as much, just at a bit slower pace these days and not as much walking. Anyway thats a bit about myself, hope to see you all round the boards, Nathan. Last edited by Nathan123; 04-16-2007 at 02:03 AM. |

| Hi, Nathan123. Yes there are lots of people on here that are pretty knowledgeable. There's also some pretty dumb characters. One to watch out for is my cousin Arkansashunter. The other one is me. Joe Bob |

Used like that it means 'people'. It can also be used if someone says: What have you been doing? or how much was that? you would say bugger all, meaning 'not much' or if you hit your finger with a hammer instead of saying 'ah s**t' you could say 'ah bugger' like a polite way to swear. Us Aussies have lots of words that can be used 10 different ways, most of the time without really having a meaning at all, lol. | |

I'm learning about guns now and other kinds that I was never really interested in. I now have a long list of guns that I would love to own, if I just had a couple 100,000.00 dollars to buy them....A.H |
