| Howdy All!!!
Howdy ya'all, Greetings from Southwest Missouri. I stumbled upon this forum while looking for a particular gun pic, then browsed around a little. I guess I liked what I saw cause here I am! I have enjoyed guns and shooting since I got my first pellet gun as a lad and became proficient with it and moved on to a single shot bolt action Springfield .22. Been a long time since that and now own several different types of firearms and became a C&R licensee about a year and a half ago so the collection is still growing. Like everyone I have my favorites and those that sit and collect a little dust, never have enough time to shoot, and I drool over what I can't have. Oh well such is life, That's enough wind outa me! |

Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me thus far! Billy, to answer your question, my hands down favorite of the C&R variety has to be my Schmidt Rubin K-31. Although not the prettiest rifle by far, I love the silky smooth straight-pull bolt action and the accuracy with iron sights is dead on. I plan on getting another one before they completely dry up, just hope I can find one with a little nicer stock. I believe the common description for them is "beaver chewed". I confess I don't have an Enfield but have been looking at them as well as the Steyr's and others. My most recent C&R purchase was a CZ-82 pistol, and no I haven't got to shoot it yet. |

Welcome. Sounds like we have similar taste in C&R. K-31's are great.

Hello ICEMAN...Yeah, it's a pretty good place. However, there are some on here that are tilted just a little out of plumb. One in particular to watch out for is an inbred cuzin of mine called ArkansasHunter. Keep your hand on your pocketbook when dealing with him. Have a good time, glad you're here.
