Hiya, everyone!!!

So I didn't scroll down far enough and started off with a post in the .22 Rimfire area. Now that I'm looking around a bit more I found this spot. I figured I should be polite like my momma taught me and say "Hello" to everybody. Seeing that others have been asked to give a bit of personal info, I'll go ahead and toss it out.

Not being raised around guns, my only real exposure was in the military and since I was USN that was limited to .45 and Mossberg 500. Recently, I got into turkey hunting and am planning on expanding to deer this season. Then I inherited a collection of over a dozen rifles in varying conditions (7 different .22's, a 16 Ga pump, a 12 Ga pump, a .308 that may become my deer rifle, a .44 carbine, and a pair of percussion guns) and now I'm discovering a whole new world.

This looks like a great group of people and I hope that someday I can actually -answer- a question rather than just asking them
