Howdy from Florida (again huh?) Just joined up... Been hitting this site for info for a long time and figured it was time! Looks like many Floridians been joining lately... I, Eric, and my wife Ann moved here with our kids a couple years ago. We love it! No more snow! As for guns -- We don't have many. Now that we are out of the socialist republic of Maryland, we hope to change that. We have a Remington Viper 522, an SKS, a Makarov and just added the EAA Witness 45 ACP Custom in the picture. Have yet to make it to the range to try it out, but cannot wait! Question for you -- How do you add the signature line in here? I am not finding it.. Grrr... ![]() Eric Last edited by TheCaretakers; 11-22-2007 at 11:04 PM.

Hi Eric, Welcome to the forum. Please tell me you have your own shooting range and I'll be your best buddy. It's hard to find a rifle range around here.

Welcome there, glad you could get out of that Socialist state. Florida has the Castle doctrine like Texas, where you don't have to retreat before firing. You'll love the place, Desoto beach is a great campsite, just got back from visiting friends in Tampa. Nice looking custom .45 you have there, mine is a SS loaded Champ. I haven't figured out how to do the signature either, check the User CP upper left in by blogs. Lets see some range reports!

The best range which I have found so far, and will be starting the joining process in a couple weeks is Central Florida Rifle & Pistol Club. Everyone I have talked to said they are a little bit hard to become a member, but are overall great. I look forward to being able to go to the range whenever I want! ![]() Thanks for all the warm welcomes! Eric

| Welcome to the site. I think you have to have 25 posts to have a sig line.

It says 100 characters(letters). You go to the top of the page to user cp then go to edit signature and put in what you want and go down and hit save. You will have to put something short in(about 2 sentances).

Rob, Thanks for the info. I know about some of these and I'm trying to find a range with 50 yards or more so I can fire .22 rifles. There are plenty of 25 yard pistol ranges. By the way, I live in Longwood, just east of Orlando.

I think I know where that is just north of Altamonte Springs, I think. Hope you find a good range! I was talking to my dad the other day and he said that they have ranges down there where they have a bunch of guns that you can use and you buy the ammo from them. Be nice if they had that up here in wisconsin!
