ArkansasHunter, Thanks for the welcome. I have killed 15 hogs, 3 coyotes, one small bobcat and no deer so far this hunting year. The deer just are not moving in the day.

Yes, you are correct. My hunting camp is in Mooringsport, north of Shreveport. I had a baby bear in my still camera. This is the first bear sight here. I saw a bigger bear but it was about 300 yds and hard to tell what it was. It looked to be about 6 foot though.

You saw one of them Big Foots that is so common around here LOL.
I live in ElDorado area.
I use to run a route to Minden and at the Minden Super Market I believe it was.
There was a Cajun in the meat market that Hog hunted it seemed every weekend.
I would call on the account on Mondays and he'd always have a set of tusk to show me form his Hog hunting adventures.
That guy would wade, swim, run and go to all lenghts to hunt Hogs. LOL !!!
He told me he hunted a lot in Arkansas too but I never asked him where.
Well it was nice to meet you and maybe we'll run into each other some day.

WELCOME, I used to live in Alexandria. Dad was stationed there. Loved to go to the Oppaloosas drag strip and Breuax Bridge crawfish festival. Those were the good old days, just walk behind the church and zero in your rifle.
