hello everyone.

My name is Randy, I'm a 51 yr. old fella whom due to work related knee injuries, stopped hunting about 15 yr. ago. I love guns and archery and owned many guns and a PSE compound bow. I now only have 1 gun, a YUGO SKS due to a family member with a drug abuse problem. ( I just want to thank God the fam. member is now clean and free for 15 months now). I'm now disabled and figured out if I can set and watch the Outdoor & Versus's channel hunts. I too could buy and set in a blind, and with the help from family, friends, and adapting to other methods of hunting, I can again enjoy hunting, and target practice again. Will stop rambling on for now. I look forward to learning and meeting new friends with like passions.
Thanks,
Randy, AKA:sksfordman

sks fordman you made my day !!! I'm delighted you've decided to get back in to hunting and shooting.
I hear tell the new tent type blinds are excellent to use to deer hunt with and I'm getting me one for next year.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and ArkansasHunter, my wife got me a Eastman blind for Christmas. It's one of the Hub style blinds with a 70" inside center measurement. The only thing I not sure I will like is that it's only 5' tall, and I'm 6' 1" tall. It has 8 shoot thru windows with one roof opening. I'm new to turkey hunting scene, yet I want to try my luck at it. Sometime in the next yr. I'm planning on a T/C encore, or CVA Optima Muzzle loader, and a rifle barrel (to be determined at a later date), after more research on this forum, and the www. I will also be buying a crossbow. So any help and info you might share with me will be greatly appreciated. I hope to be a man who can help others see, it's not living to not just sit down and let life pass you by. I appreciate all of the replies. Randy, Aka:sksfordman
