| Hello, from an old new guy! I just found you. Not much time to chat but am interested in "jawin'" with others about guns. Been a liscensced gunsmith since the 70's and though retired I still work as a gunsmith 4 days/week. Great work, to spend one's time fondling the world's finest firearms, daily. It's a lot of barrel scrubbing and parts swapping at time, though. I may not talk much but will enter and read posts when not working overtime! A labor of love! |

| Rebuilt an old colt pistol, today. Serial num 4300, just before Custer! The barrel and cyl were perfect! It seems someone 100+ years ago knew how to clean a gun! |

| Senior Member | Howdy Kygunsmith! Just getting started myself. Retirement didn't set well, too much free time, so I'm getting a little part-time gunshop started here in Okieland! And you are right, fondling old guns is a great way to spend retirement. Except for the gun in a bag I've been getting, or should I say jigsaw gun puzzle? It's all fun, though!!!
