Nambu Ammo and Reload Suggestions

Hello!

Are there Nambu collectors out there? I have a type 14. I'm looking for sources of ammo that are reasonable. (Well, fairly reasonable....)

Also, what about the reloading route? Would you seasoned collectors and shooters share your favorite bullet and powder weight info?

I'm having real problems finding the right load. A friend made me up some reloads...

3 gr of unique won't cycle it. (relative to factory load)

3.2 did a fair but dirty job, 3.3 cracked the casing from top to bottom and broke the extractor ($44 piece unless you guys know of one I can get cheaper). I had to push the shell out with a cleaning rod...

The gun is in really good shape, I'd love to shoot it when I get it inspected and the extractor replaced. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Ammo is available from Load-X Ammunition Company - Expert Supplier of Factory and Remanufactured Firearm Ammunition and brass is available from Midway, made by Bertram...I have no load data available but you may find it at surplusrifles.com , also the old western scrounger has Nambu ammo on occasion... Good luck
