| Good sources for Arisaka's?
Besides auction sites does anyone know a good source to purchase one? I've yet to add a Japanese rifle to my collection. Also any advice on what to look for when purchasing?

Auction sites, gun shows, and occasionally a gun shop are the only places I've seen them. They might have been military surplus at one time, but I think you can drop off the "surplus" part.. Good luck!! They're out there, but you have to hunt for them.

What to look for depends on how much you want to spend. The price on "nearly" identical looking rifles can be several hundred dollars. Originality is key to value. Intact Mum, all matching numbers, decent original finish. |
