Shot my P3AT next to LCP and Guardian

I just got back from the range. I had my P3AT. A couple next to me had a LCP and a Guardian .380. The husband had the LCP and his wife liked the Guardian. She said being a little heavier she felt less kick. We all traded and shot each other's guns. All of us agreed the P3AT was the most accurate and best trigger. The Guardian did have less recoil. Between us we shot about 150 rounds through each gun. My P3AT didn't jam once. The LCP had 2 jams and the Guardian had 13.

P3AT wins hands down.

I agree, i cannot stand to listen to the people that buy the LCP's and completely discredit kel-tec and call them trash. I personally find that they are far better firearms.

Hey Mike, Anytime you want to try it out give me a call. You can take it with you to try or if we plan it right we can go shoot together.

I got a new P3AT last week; shot it 6 times there for function(no target). I got a chance to shoot it 8 more times at home today. If I control the trigger properly, it will shoot pretty much to POA.
I just hope the Hydra Shoks I use will be suitable for defense; they function fine. I also have some ball ammo; may mix it in the magazine for carry.

Ps: I had been dry firing the P3AT( using A Zoom snap caps), and I noticed sometimes when the trigger broke for the "shot", the front sight would "dip" some. Live fire showed that it would of course, shoot low when that happened. So, I'll have to work on a smoother trigger squeeze.
Had an NAA Black Widow once that would kick the sight UP on a dry fire.
Little guns is funny creatures!

i dont have a keltek, so I wont say they are crap. I went w/ the LCP and I love it, it never jams, and is very accurate. i would of bought a KT but from all the reviews I read( and there were a lot) It seemed like some people got good ones and some people got bad ones..i hardly hear of people complaining bout LCP

Really, I've heard alot of complaints about the LCP. They copied Keltec's first revision of the P3AT and have been having all the issues that Keltec had before it went with the next revision.

Gun Test Magazine did a side by side comparison and the P3AT won. They claimed they were about the same in specs, but the P3AT was cheeper. I also heard of a Ruger recall already on the first pruduction run on the LCP.
