I tried to cc my 1911. Didn't really work that great lol. 5" barrel makes it a lil bulky.

Try "Canned Heat" .45 ACP 185gr Full Metal Jacket 500pk . They make decent ammo, I'm using their "Canned Heat" to break in my Kimber Stainless Target II in 10mm. Put 200 rounds of it through mine so far, not as dirty as some of the other ammo I've used. Jim |

| I picked up a new Pro Carry HD II last Friday, took it home and cleaned and lubed per manual. Went to range Sat. fired 180 rds. WITHOUT a hiccup, worked flawlessly. Used 230 gr. rn Fiochhi ammo you cannot beat that. Am very pleased with Kimber considering all of the bad press they seem to be getting, kinda weird went to gun store and walked out twice empty handed, not sure what to buy. Oh well nothing is perfect! Am very satisfied with my Kimber, hands down! Woody

I don't know what the break-in is about. Both my Kimber pistols have always worked flawlessly from day 1.
