Kimber or Colt?

My next 1911 will be a carry piece and have looked at both manufactures as to what is offered. I am one of those that after modifying my Springfield I have just as much money tied up as if I would have started with eithier manufacture. both have great qualities and believe me for a old man i get almost s--ually excited over the thought. This will draw lines amongst you loyalist but I would like to hear from those in the know which manufacture to run with. Thanks

Kimber all the way. I think a lot of people will agree with that.

As much as I hate to say this Kimber, S&W (supposedly made by Kimber) or Sig. I bought a Kimber Gold Match instead of a Gold Cup. and I am looking at a carry 9mm. My first choice is a Sig, then S&W 910, then if I decide to get a SA the Kimber compact. I'd rather have a DA/SA but....
