I just got my first handgun and I'm already in pursuit of my second. A co-worker is looking to sell a Kimber .40 Cal. Stainless. Just wondered what model that could possibly be. Not sure how old it is but he said $500. Seems like it would be a decent deal for a Kimber from what I've seen. Any help would be great.

How long is the barrel? Officer's size grips? They made a few in .40 S&W, but have cut the number of models down. If it's the one with the 4" barrel and the Officer's frame, $500 is a steel.
