IDPA Match today

I shot in an IDPA shoot today - first time I've ever done that!

I used my Ultra CDPII and I have to say it was impressive. I thought I would miss every target since I've never done that before. But the Kimber performed flawlessly. I made some head shots and a lot of center circle chest shots!

I was especially impressed with the trigger job from the Kimber Custom Shop - smooth and easy trigger pull.

I can't wait to do that again!

I started IDPA last year - love it !! I shoot a SW M&P .40 (ESP Sharpshooter class). We have about 30-35 people shoot a "practice" each week and I shoot 2 full matches a month.

Since then I have gotten a couple other pistols that should be better - a Springfield XDm .40S&W for ESP and a Fusion 1911 in .45acp with target sights for CDP class.

If I just had time to practice more!

I'd love to try IDPA but I'm not aware of any matches near me.
