I have been considering selling my AR for this guys Kimber 45. I have always been into 1911's never could afford one + im only 18. heres what he said. "i read thru the oregon gun statutes and found that anyone over 18 can legally own a handgun just as long as they got it from a FTF sale or recieved as a gift....only stipulation is you cant purchase from a dealer....i brought it up to my dealer friend and he told me the same". what does anyone think is it a good trade.

While the Kimber is an awsome gun, Id keep your AR. Save up or do what you have to do to get the kimber but with the world going the way its going, id keep the AR.

Besides when you do get your kimber what a nice combo you will have.

Keep your present firearm,and save money for a semi auto-please! The previous poster is very very right. Take it from an old dog,keep what you have,I promise you will never regret it. Woody P.S. I am buying a Tactical Ultra II tomorrow. Good Luck!
