Question You Show Me Yours and I'll Show Ya Mine

Do any of ya'll carry a knife. Daily? What kind?

Use to carry a Blackjack Mamba folder with stag scales. I carried it in a ballistic belt sheath from Blackie Collins.

Retired that after Blackjack went belly up and now carry a Benchmade Elishewitz double edged folder. I also carry it in a Black Collins ballistic belt sheath.

How about a hunting knife?

Everywhere but at work, I carry my old Buck #317 two-blade folder. It's long discontinued, and I bought it while in highschool - back when a student could carry a knife, since it was a tool, not a weapon. I carried it in the USAF and the Navy, it went around the world with me, and it's still good and sharp.
But, a four-inch blade scares the Sheeple - so at work I carry a Case Stockman - decently useable but less scary.
When "in the field". I carry a fixed-blade in a belt sheath - either a 5" leather-handled "Commando Tanto" or a 7" Marine Kabar, depending on my mood.

My hunting knife is one that I made off of a Morseth design that dates back 50yrs. Wish I had a way of posting a pic. Stag handle with polished aluminum pommel.

Too Many to mention!

My standby's are my Spyderco Endura and Gerber Italian made Flight Crew Survival "Boot Knife"

For a "full" size knife, I like my AF survival knife. Carried (or near by) proudly in GWI, Korea, and Iraqi freedom. As well as a good luggage companion on numerous other deployments.

Most versitle knives. Boy Scout knife, Leatherman tool, Swiss Army. Not in any order.

I feel strongly that if you use guns, you'd BETTER know how to use a good knife. No excuse not to.

I carry a leatherman thats a good knife I am lost with out it
I like spyderco endura and rescue clipit
for a fixed blade knife I like my cold steel tanto but I cant make my self carry it very often in the field because its so !!!! expensive.
so sheepishly I admit sometimes I carry a cheap china copy of a puma high tek camper.
I got it fer 10 bucks at the ten thousand silver dollar store in Montana.
that is a great place to buy cheap knives.
I can get 3 or 4 hours of fondeling time in the car (when I am not driveing)
out of a cheap knife bought at the ten thousand silver dollar store.
I also like and carry a swiss bayonet that I have had a sheath made for it. Thats mostly just for show though
you can get these wonderful bayonets at cheaper than dirt . com for $9.97
So I guess I like to carry a lot of different knives
But a gun beats a knife everytime

I have one of those in single lock blade I got about 1979. Remember the Scrimshaw models?

Mine has buffalo carved on it.
