| the old Boy Scout official pocket knife??? had a blade, can opener, screw driver, bottle cap opener, and an awl. mine had genuine simulated stag grips. i also had the civilian model called the the Kamp King with black grips. i once even had an all stainless steel model that was issue item for the Marines.i do not know were they disappeared to. this type knife was once easy to find JC Penny's used to handle BSA offical uniforms, and equipment. every sporting goods store, hardware store, and 5&10's carried the Kamp King. now they have disappeared at the retail level. |

| I've still got a Kamp King and an old Barlow Knife - both easily over forty years old. My Buck 317 is nearing thirty years old. They just don't make 'em like they used to. I still got my "baby spoon" too - that's a real collector's item . . .
