| Senior Member | Thank you all for the kind words, I havent been to the forum as much lately as I have been getting cow/calves moved to different pastures, getting ready for hunters for elk season and I recently was asked to submit professional photos of one or more knives to a book editor as they are doing a large coffee table style book about knives and asked that I be in it. Well the deadlines for editing is oct 1st and doesnt leave me much time to get any thing finished and sent off to the photographer so, A.H. that highplains hunter maybe the one I have to use in the book. Silver run... Nothing I make is out of your budget, Im always willing to wheel and deal a bit. When a crappy bark river costs 75 to 80% of what my hand forged ,hand made with much higher quality materials and workmanship I certianly dont feel my prices are out of line a bit in fact other custom knifemakers have told me I needed to raise my prices. Which I wont. I make my stuff for the working man. A.H. my friend its folks like you that makes me want to continually put out the quality I try to maintain. Thank you! That high plans hunter knife is long sold, the only reason I have it again is that its getting a very high end custom carved sheath. I beleive is was 325 to 350ish? I think the info is still posted on my available page. |
