My First Custom Knife!

I am rather proud of myself as I have purchased my first custom knife from a rather talented knife maker named Bob Ham. His work is out of this world. Unfortunetly, he doesn't seem to have an online site other than an eBay. But his knifes are low cost, highly functional, and extremely attractive.

Here's the beauty I snagged from him today, called the "Southeastern Skinner."

Nice knife!
I have a custom 'throwing' knife by Tildon Bowen,it's just a wee bit short of being a Roman Gladius (sp?) been having it for years. I got it when I was big into 'Buckskinning'

I splurged a bit too much this weekend. LOL! I can most definetly kiss my last paycheck a solid goodbye. My second ever custom knife was purchased this evening.

This one has not yet come home with me as I am paying it off in instalments. Another hunting knife, this one by Dan Ritchie. Yesterday it was between this one and Bob Ham's knife, I got Bob Ham's, but I just couldn't force myself to leave this one behind. And he knew it, too. I kept going back to his table all day long.

I'm going to be selling some stuff this week at local stores and pawn shops in the hopes of bringing this knife home as soon as possible. Besides, I hate to leave a wonderful knife maker and person waiting on his money.

Nice blades. We've got a member here named Romey that builds knives. Here's his site: High Country Knives
