Anti Knife Drive in Britain

Heard about this on a Knife board I visit. We all know that the Brits have all but lost their right to firearms. Now there is an attempt to ban knives as well. The site below is the latest attempt to get people to swear off of knives. I smell the first steps in totally disarming the average law abiding Brit. Soon all they'll have left is cricket bats and large serving spoons.

Dallas I watched a show late last night entitled Liberty in Perial <(missed spell)
The show it was on is name'd..... I'll think of it later.
I am totaly convinced that our goverment has sold out the American people to corporate america and there out to change the way we now live.
Guns are in the Grand design to be taken away, 40 plus million more jobs will be lost to China and Mexaco. Even the Sea beds will be given to a world organization who will and will not allow drilling and minning for the good of the World.
The U.S. Mexico, canandian currentcy has already been named the Amerole.
The I 69 corridore will run from Mexico to Canada and all goods from China will then be shipped to Mexaco because it's even cheaper to send there for distribution.
The things talked about will scare you. The illegal alien bill that didn't get passed has been chopped up and is already being passed until all of it is passed which is going on behind closed doors.
As I watched this program I'm thinking how do we take back America if this is true.
The name of the news show was something like Head lines Prime time or Prime Time Head Lines Part 2 will be tonight.

If you give this a little thought, it is really funny. They banned guns - people are still killing each other. Humm, well lets try banning knives that would surely stop people from killing each other. Humm that didn't work either? Wonder whats next? Better watch out they may be confiscating the piano wire next! People have been killing people since Cain - all the laws man could ever dream up will not stop this. God has a law against it and that has not stopped it. Why do men think they can outsmart human nature? The only way to have an ordered society is to work with human nature - defence of ones own life and their family is the most basic of human instincts. Restore peoples rights to defend themselves and society will restore order to itself in short order.

This is just my opinion but.... years ago I quit a pro-gun organization because they were constantly crying "wolf" and I could see no appricatable change or diffrence in my dayly life or in the "gun laws." Now mind you this was well before the "Clinton era" The organization I quit then, is still crying "wolf" today but not as stridently as they did in the last century.
Ever since I've joined this fourm group someone is always "stirring the pot" so to speak. This, I believe, is a good thing; however I also believe that a lot of what we hear is rumor and rumor only. Perhaps I'm burying my head in the sand, but I think that when push comes to shove the American people will do "the right thing" I may not see it or maybe I'll be forced to take part in the change(s). But I do fervently hope that push doesn't come to shove.

Trouble is,it's about time for more mass denial,happened many times before,folks just refused to see it right in front of their eyes until it was too late.

Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't congress have to rattify these agreements too.
Were not being told whats going on, thats for sure and I honest to God don't know what to make of it. I really don't think that program was to far off base.

Wow what a turn this thread made, at anyrate, certian people in britian mainly doctors has been trying to get knives outlawed for several years now. I should reitterate, they have been trying to get POINTED knives outlawed for a few years. Silly as it seems they are pushing to a round pointed knife only country as that was thier (proponents of the law) suggestion, seem strange? Ever looked into Austrailia knife laws? Even carrying a screwdriver in your pocket with no immmediate and intended purpose is illegal as I have been told.
Also absoloutly no dble edge or false edge knives what so ever either, apparently its easier to cause damage with a human body with a dbl edge knife then a single edge in the use of a crime. And want a larger camp style knife or bowie, good luck but a Axe, now thats ok

I agree with you there is trouble on the horizon!!!!!!! My wife is taking a colleage course and as barking this stuff at me for months and I kept thinking she had lost her mine. I finally started doing some research of my own and reading what she had been studieng in her course and I have to agree. The unity of Mexico,Canada and the United States is called The North American Union, North Carolina is already impleamenting on there new drivers license a hologram showing the symbol of this union .I saw it on another site, I dont remember which one at the moment. Then there's President Clod Bush who got a knew defense budget bill passed. And on the bill it stated that part of the money was for Stealth Bombers that had to be fitted for Bunker Buster's if we already have control of the air over Iraq and Afganistan why do we need such alterations for. WAR ON IRAN MAYBE? How about the Florida student who got tazed when John Kerry was speaking at the university. Weather he was a trouble maker,Dumb asstrash talker isnt the point. The fact is FREEDOM OF SPEECH is dead, Kerry said stop let him speak and the storm troopers continued with there strong arm tactics. He could of stopped it if he chose to he's a Senator. And your gonna tell me he couldnt stop them and let him speak, horse pucky. It could of been anyone of us trying to speak our minds. Our god given right as citizens of the United States. How about the concentration camps that were being used for WWII pow's all through the country we have two in Nashville. These camps are being modernized to be used. The question is for what, to gather up all the Middleeasterners in this country when time comes. For those of us that do not comply, if they were to pass Marshall Law? It goes on and on. And before you guys start calling me a conspiracy nut, there are pleanty of people that think the same way. When you guys talk about the SHTF this is what comes to mind. My brothers keep telling me to quit worrying about hunting guns and get combat weapons for when time comes. But I cant get them to understand if you bug out you have to eat, killing your game with combat weapons isnt the way. There have been topics on this in the survial thread as you know. Either way,there is trouble in the horizon. Sorry for ranting I try to stay off this subject on here because the crap the goverment is pulling really pisses me off. And for as far as the American people will do whats right when time comes, I dont know, I bring up the topic from time to time with different people on different job sites. the coming scenario is the reason the founding fathers wrote the 2nd amendment . thats what gun/knife/pingpong paddle/etc. controll is about. controlling the people when the gov't forces something on them. without any means of defense you have to obey.(slave) i like to think there are enough patriots armed with weapons and the mind-set to do something to stop the tyrants but this is the age of the wimp. the tyrants know not to force it on us all at once. they will just keep on chisiling away at our freedoms and way of life and it will be all over before we know what happened. i only wish that if tshtf has to happen, i'm still around to do my part. i feel sorry for the future generations.

Bayonets have become popular since guns faded from the scene,kinda like banning switchblades did keep the gangs from cutting each other,now they use guns and are doing a much more efficent job of doing each other in.

Actually Romey that's not actually true. We are alloud to own double edged knives, and also we are alloud to own big knives (eg ka-bar, bowie, gurka ect) and bayonets. What we are not alloud to do however is walk the streets with said knives, or any knives for that matter, with the exception of big cities pocket knives are no problem.
As for the screwdriver, i guess if you were found hanging around a shopping center car park or walking the streets late at night with a screw driver in your pocket then you would find yourself in a bit of trouble, but if you were to go to the shops and buy a screwdriver and put it in your pocket for the trip home there would be no big deal.
