New Knife

Knowing that my love for knives is almost as strong as my love of a good weapon, my husband was in an Army Surplus shop recently and bought me a new knife to add to my collection.

It's a folding knife with a rod mounted in the grip that you can use as a fire striker and a built in whistle. It wears the Tool Logic brand and cost 35 dollars. We tried to start a fire with it using a lint ball from the drier and it ignited on the second strike.

If you can find one like it, my advice is get it. It's a nice little survival knife to keep on hand.

I've got a great guy! Nothing says true love like cold hard steel.

Yeah, and the knife's a keeper, too!

Seriously.... In Illinois, the state police want women to blow whistles to scare off potential rapists.

I have a better idea, use your whistle to summon the police AFTER you 'scare off' the potential rapist by emptying your magazine at him...and then using your knife to make him a permanent alto in the Vienna Boys Choir.... Nothing personal guys, these were my husband's suggestions of how to deal with a potential rapist in Illinois.

Blow a whistle....yeah, right....
