Sting!

Knife Injects Compressed Gas Into Stabee - Geekologie

"This easy-to-use, easy-to-reload weapon delivers up to a 24g shot of compressed gas at 800 PSI on land or underwater."

What in the world could that possibly be for?

Aside from being some sort of sadist.

If you have atleast a little knowledge, and skill, with a knife you can kill anyone easily with a regular knife. Also, the maintenance for it would be a bit more involved. Them army guys already need pleanty of time for their m4/16's.

I think it's an anti-shark weapon. The gas injection blows them up like a balloon and they float to the surface and rupture organs, or something like that.

But it says that the army is talking about using it, not divers.

If at all possible, I prefer to not get that close to a threat. I mean yes, I have a knife, but it is a last resort. Again, I prefer to not get that close to a threat or let a threat get that close to me or my own for that matter...

I agree, in that it is something aimed more at scuba divers or maybe even something a Navy Seal mind use or need? But for me, I wouldn't have a need or use for one.
