| Senior Member | am i wrong?.......... i just watched the original "planet of the apes" for like the millionth time! lol i just love charlie heston movies.....anyway for the longest time i have tried to figure out what guns they modified to use in that movie,and i got a glance at the mag well and i could swear they were m-1 carbines!....am i right or wrong?.....anyone know?

| I saw them in a website of "Hollywood guns". The carbines are in stocks made of stamped sheetmetal painted to resemble wood. They also had some handguns - snubby revolvers placed in similar sheetmetal housings (don't know how one would load it - it was totally encased!).
