Here is what I can tell you.

1. Rock_Ola produced 228,500 carbines. Which equals 3.7% of all carbines produced.
2. There were 10 prime contractors to produce the M-1 carbine during WWII. And with overlapping serial numbers for production, and poor handeling and loss of paperwork it is not possable to track serial numbers to production dates like the Garand.
3. Rock-Ola stopped putting the barrel production dates below their name somewhere mid to late 1943. During the first serial number block ending in the 1.7 and change million range, and is more than likely the original barrel. Your carbine falls in the 2nd production group. So your carbine was more than likely produced late 1943 to 1944. And that is just a rough estimate based on the facts that are available.
4. Rock-Ola stamped all parts with an "R" which was there production code, or Stamped Rock-Ola on some parts like the barrel and the recoil plate, the latter also stamped with just the "R".
5. Rock Ola produced there own stocks and stamped them "RMC" with crossed cannons on the right side of the buttstock. And also in the sling well. The "P" you stated is a acceptance proof mark. And the AAP is more than likely the inspectors initals, as no other producer or arsenal used those initials.
And you did not state if your carbine has a Flip "L" shaped non adjustable rear sight or a milled or stamped rear sight assembley. Also if your carbine has a bayonet lug type front band as Rock Ola did not use them in original production and this is a good indication that it was rebuilt. But going on the info you gave it does sound like you do have a replacement stock unless you find RMC stamped where I stated on the stock.
And as for value depending on the finish, original or reparkerized. And the condition of the bore and wear of the barrel are all factors in the price as well as all the parts being stamped "R" or Rock Ola. But for a rebuilt with a good original finish, good barrel and nice condition and no re import stamps on the barrel. Between 650 to 750 for a Rock Ola would be a fair estimate. And could be worth more to a motivated buyer. And much more if all original of course.
This is just a rough estimate without seeing and holding the weapon, and is totally dependant on condition so dont quote me. This is based on prices I've seen around here, and may differ to supply and demand and economic conditions in your area. Your findings may very. Thus ending my legal disclaimer...
I hope this helps.

Manufactured in Dec of 43...AAP Rebuilt at Augusta Arsenal. Inspector's initial P. The P behind the trigger guard is the reproof mark after the rebuild. It probably has a mixture of manufacturer's parts. Since you got it in 59, it won't have any import marks. That is a big plus on the price side. It would probably sell for around $600-$650.
