Question Another M1 Carbine question..."Plainfield"...

Seen a "Plainfield" M1 Carbine today for $320...good? bad? ugly?

Thumbs up

Don't know about elsewhere, but down in these parts that's an okay price. The Plainfields are good solid commercial guns. My buddy has one, which has given sterling service for years.
Heck, even the lowly Universals bring $350 down here.
Go for it, Joe! The Warbaby is a fun lil' gun.

I think you did well. The going price for a decent Plainfield is $350-$400. They are among the best of the clones.

Talking

Heck, Joe. You can always pick up one of those Czech frog-poppers most anywhere - nice Commercial Warbabies aren't near as numerous.
The M1 Carbine is the very definition of "fun shooting"! Easy to reload for too, if'n you're inclined thataway.
