| M1 carbine what is it worth? I have an IBM M1 carbine that my father bought from the Army in 1964. Was delivered us mail from Anniston Al. Still have receipt from the dept of the army. Only paid 20.00 then. My question is are the IBM models rare? worth a crap? not looked for by collectors? Mine is in excellent condition and shot my first white tail with it. Still a fun gun to shoot. Being in excellent conditon what do you think the worth is? Did IBM produce these during the war? Would like to know :target: |

| Since you still have the documentation on its purchase, and its not an import marked carbine, I'd venture to say that it is worth around $700-$800 on today's market. Pretty good for a $20 investment!?? If you can give me more details on the approximate serial number, any visible markings and the features of the carbine, I should be able to give you more info on it.
