Went to CMP South

Last thursday the week of the 6th I took Morgan down to CMP south and we found a really sharp looking M1 Carbine - Inland rack grade that was in even beeter condition than the more expensive rifles. He took it home Tuesday so when he gets out on the range I should have a range report. Unfortunately while at CMP South I Garand Blank firing action called my name - I bought it for an m1d conversion.

I picked up an Underwood (T) racker the same way at the North store. I've been practicing with it for next year's CMP Nationals. BTW off sandbags, it will hold 2 3/4 inch groups at 100 yds. I think that's pretty good for a racker!
