o.k. you did ok! keep it in good shape and it will only go up in value over the years as it was made by a non-gun manufacturer of note. there are niche collectors for this type thing.

I have several 30 round mags for my national postal meter recievered M1 and it has always worked flawlessly. The only thing I can recommend is that you count how many rounds you put in the mag ,I've (on several occasions)put 1 to many in and it wont feed correctly.Other than that I say , Big mag, little gun , always cool looking! Also ,WHERE DID YOU FIND 3 - 30 ROUND MAGS FOR 32 BUCKS? shawn

USGI mags for that price = excellent deal, Commercial aftermarket copies may be a waste of money. Mant commercial 30 rd mags will not function properly, you will just have to try one and see

Do I smell the essence of John Wayne here? One well placed shot is worth 30 sprays; but everyone who owns a carbine should have at least one 30-rounder for posterity.

I own several 30-rounders but seldom use them. Just one caution on the larger cap mags; beware the ones with a split back-bone (or two piece back-bone). Cartridges have been known to catch at the split and hang-up causing a failure to feed (most likely a magazine coil more than the actual cartridge). I say this from experience and from various articles I've read. It's best to stick with the one piece back-bone. Mosineer, I can't agreemore...the little guy is alotta fun.
