Big 5 woo woo

I visited a local Big 5 today to look at their surplus arms. They had one lone carbine that was identified as all military. The rear sight was adjustable but not like any I've ever seen...quite cheap looking to say the least. The stock was very dark with numerous dings. I have no idea what make it was since no Big 5 employee seemed to want to wait on me. It was a Century Arms unit so I'm guessing was not in the best condition.
The clincher here is the $999 price tag that was attached to it...and the trigger wasn't even gold-plated.

That would be one of the Inland .30 M-1 Carbines that they've been selling as of late. They occasionally go on sale for the low, low price of $899.99
