| Senior Member | Looks pretty good,Underwoods are not rare,but not real common either. It isn't original,bayo lug and rear sight are later to this rifle,it has gone through a re-build at some time,stock looks like maybe birch,but it is an M1 stock. Slide looks to be later type. Price seems good to me. Maybe a bit of haggling room though. Good luck! |

| Guest | sounds like a deal to me. if your looking for a shooter, then don't worry about the pedigree. original, as first issued carbines are few and far between, they have been through the rebuild and update mills numerous times. |
