Stripping (mature audiences only)

Ok, just got a Springfield M1, and now it's time to strip. The big question is "how?"

Several choices:

A) Buy a dang book-- You didn't get one with it?

B) Go to your search engine and type in "m1 garand take down". CMP has a good site, Fulton Armory has a better site. There are a few private sites around that are good.

C) Find an old fart to show you.

I have done all of the above.

I went into how to field strip, but deleted it. Very long. A few Pics from one of those sites will do much better.
