I'm almost done with the BLO rubbing a few more coats ought to do.
Was at the range yesterday trying out some reloads best group was 2.5 in.
All my reloads worked fine but some grouped a lot better.

My josh Maddogg
That thing looks like a museum type artifact or something of the like.
So, you bring it to the range?
That is one hell of a job you did there!

Hey tex----can we convince him to bring that beut to the next winter shoot?
Sorry I missed you guys this year, been busy.
I did tho bring the Garand up-north(wisconsin) with some specials.
After a full clip I did manage to poke a hole at 100yd
Seems someone had been playin with the elevator nob.
The target is in the van and not the biodegradable type!

Again---Good job Maddogg!

My buddies Garand from CMP came with the same looking striped stock. Not GI, but neat looking just the same.

All SA now. Traded all the IHC HRA and Win for Enfield's over the years.

M1 Garand Pictures, (warning picture heavy)

I purchased this from a USMC Capt. who bought it in 1992, it was still sealed in the bag when I bought it in 2008 (cheap, compared to todays prices) I haven't completely stripped it down but all parts I can see are SA.
Here's the bag.

It is EP on the receiver leg SA over 1-64 indicating a rebuild in Jan. 1964.

Barrel is dated Dec. 63 and gauges with a stone axe gauge as "New" under 1 for both TE & ME

It is glass bedded as you can see by the yellow "Stuff"!

Nice heat treated receiver

Overall picture

Nice DAS stamp

Don't know what this mark is?

The bolt

Circle "P"

The muzzle, you can see the sharp lands and grooves if you look closely

More SA Parts
