Pardon me for ignoring your question about a price, as my topic is probably just an academic question.
I might not ever sell it, but If it were to happen, it would only be FTF in the Memphis area, and when the economy shows signs of improvement here.

I know you didn't really have this as an option, but I would sell the SKS, keep the mini and buy the Garand. Maybe you could think about having a collector Garand and a shooter. And if you decide to do that, you could always have someone like Fulton Armory or Dean's make your shooter a carbine Garand (or "tanker", but I hate that term) in 7.62 Nato, sort of best of both worlds. I'd definately keep that mini over a SKS, but if you're determined to keep the SKS, I'd still get another Garand. Like someone else noted, you can always get another mini, Garands stocks are depleting daily.

I'd sell the Mini, M2MikeGolf, the sad thing is that an SKS is more accurate than any Mini30. I hate Mini30s and have never had one shoot accurately or reliably. SKS' are always reliable and accurate.

"Mr. Sergei Ivanov** Mosin", spasibo.
You also put it in a clear nutshell. My Norinco SKS is not a 'krasiva' (pretty) gun, but it has style and you never forget the magazine.
A very careful German friend (from Essen) came by once, and he had somehow forgotten his AR's mag. So many people believe that if they have to live through serious 'shtf', they will always have their magazines for any gun.

Hey FS,
Done deal then, sell the mini, get another Garand! Sorry to hear about that mini, and a bit surprised. Is it old one? I've had two minis in .223 that shot very well, but am not that familiar with the Mini-30s and how they shoot. In any event, I highly recommend that second Garand!

M2MikeGolf:
The Mini is about five years old.
Don't really know how it shoots, as the only targets have been up to about 100 feet, in or by a river.
