The notch for the clip latch to engage and lock into was undersized.

Well, heck. Vague, but correct! I know that was the problem. Now you want thousandths of an inch? I'll find it. I know I've seen it somewhere...

Hi all, It seems that the problem with the clips was that SA sent Win the wrong drawing number sheets. WRA cut their clips to .627 plus .006. The change SA made was to .640 plus .010. Of the 50,000 clips WRA had made using the wrong data were cut over with no charge. I know it was a really hard one, but I thought of interest. Thanks again Clancy |
