M1/Endurance Test

Hi all,
Well, here I go again. In the Endurance Test of 6000 rounds. How was the test broken down. Hint First how many rounds in a series. This series is broken down into two parts. How many rounds in a series after which the barrrel can be cooled by air or water. Then how many rounds per minute to make up a series. To help you out here's another hint I just need your answer to be approximately. No goofey answers please.
Have fun
Thanks again for taking the time to LOOK at the QUIZ
