| Win falls behind in production Quiz Gentlemen, In Dec. of 1944 production at Winchester of M1 Garands fell from the schedule 15,000 M1 Rifles to only 9,200 M1 Rifles. There were numerous causes for Winchester falling behind. Can you name some of the problems ? My sites with data and books and CD for sale. These are commercial sites. | Gentlemen, Just a few of items were lack of components, components being rejected by inspectors, manpower shortage due to layoffs (not flu) as production requirements were scaled back. Thanks again Clancy |
