1944/inspector/M1 Garand/Stampman

Gentlemen,
The follow files is from the 1944 Inspector's Guide for passing or failing a shipment of M1 Garand Rifle. The lots of Garand's were in 500 rifles. This Officer had the power to fail the entire lot. They would then be sent back to be reworked.
THIS IS AN IMPORTANT FILE.

Seems the first one had six malfunctions in the first 3000 rounds and 10 in the second 3000!
