| General Patton's TWO Letters/M1 Garand

So if you're at work or home it may be wise to check your volume control. If you need a better copy just email me. garandm1rifle@rcn.com Gentlemen you know what to do. Push just a little more TIA. Patton was Patton, but I think the hand grenade is the best battle implement ever devised. Ask any WWII vet if he'd rather go into battle with: a) an M1 Garand and no grenades or b) a bolt-action Springfield and hand grenades Hand grenades turned every infantryman into a artilleryman. |

I see your point about the grenades... When ya can't shoot em through their cover a grenade will sure flush em out quick!

Grenades are a lifesaver at night. You're in your hole, you hear a noise, figure it's Charlie (or Fritz or Ivan), what do you do? If you fire your weapon the flash will give away your position. So you toss a grenade. BG has no idea where it came from. Yep, hand grenades are great. |
