I still kick myself for a deal I never took, well two actually. One was a perfect Colt AR-15, post ban 20" HBAR for about $700. The other one was two guns actually. Both were Garands made before Dec. 1941. One was all original, never been rebuilt, perfect shape, I mean perfect. The other had been rebuilt and converted to .308. The guy wanted $800 each, as he was older, getting ready to go into an assisted living home and couldn't take his guns with him. This is the same guy I got my perfect $200 MAK-90 from. Anyways, I was asking a big Garand dealer at a show a few months later, and he said the first gun should be worth at least $2000, should have got those guns.

I know how you feel. Back about 10 years ago I passed on a Gas Trap Gas cylinder for the Garand. They said they would take $750.00 for it. I mulled it over and even went back to think about it again but couldn't see doing that when a Garand was less money . Now there asking $7,000. Rick B
