| An M1 Garand every 2.083 Minutes?
Gentlemen, If I did my numbers right it does come out to be one (1) M1 Garand every TWO (2) MINUTES. I don't know if the Winchester M1's are in that rate of 3000 per day. Guys that is really moving along. At the time i.e. 1942 I don't think that there was any other power in WW 2 to have production rates anywhere near the USA. I think if we tried that today it might be hard to match. Look at the date. ![]() Some data has been posted before others have not. ...and that amazing speed of production was achieved with many women...because their men were on the other end of a rifle fighting for their lives.
