USMC Early CALL for M1 GARAND

Gentlemen,
These files show that the USMC is asking for additional M1 Garand Rifles. These files have the USMC calling for the M1 Garand Rifle BEFORE STANDARD ADOPTION for issue with the USMC.
GENTLEMEN I WILL BE DROPPING A NUMBER OF SITES THAT I USE TO POST
TO DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST. I WILL BE POSTING TO MY OLD SITES. TIA

Without input from you guys no one learns anything Try to put in some info/question and we can learn more of the M1's History.
Some files have been seen before

Check out my sites if you have the time. Updates on M1 Ball/M2 Ball updated. TIA
Thanks again Clancy

That was a very riveting read, eclancy! Thanks!

I don't have an M1, but if I had the cash and they were available, I'd sure as heck be taking it out shooting on these gorgeous days!

Thanks again Ed , good reads. bigandrich44, Ed has gotten all of this right from Springfield by doing long hours of searching in a scrambled thru the mess. They should pay him for his time of organizing thing's I think.

The great thing about Mr. Clancy's book is there real and not made up or things added just to get the book done without 100% research. He has the real deal. Rick B

I've got about 7X $100.00 in mine. Worth every penny! How much were they sold for by DCM after the war? What's the current average $ for a decent shooter from CMP?
