Gentlemen,
Here is a file which shows problems as the First Rifle is about to be finished. I do have a question for you guys. Is there any with data on the WELDED OP-ROD ? We find out that they were built by a sub-contractor.
Without input from you guys no one learns anything Try to put in some info/question and we can learn more of the M1's History. Your input is very important to all of us.
Some files have been seen before

Wonder if any welded op-rods or poorly heat-treated receivers got by the inspectors in any of the initial lots?
