Italian Made Garands

Are the italian made M1 garands any good for shooting. And if so what price range would be around.

Yes and they are about the same as a U.S. Garand anymore. If you can score one for $500.00 do it as they are rare with just under 11,000 PB's and 11,000 BMR's being made. Not all that many made it to the U.S. without import maks also. Rick B

If I remember correctly, they are made on WRA machinery that we sent them by companies that have been building firearms for 500 years. I think you will be okay.

The ones I have seen are of excellent quality.

Generally accepted that they are probably a bit beter than the US made rifles because of improvements in metalurgy techniques in the 10 yrs after the end of WW 2.
I have never heard anything bad about them at all! I've got one.
