Johnson or Garand

Gentlemen,
Many of my files fall into other Projects going on at SA/APG/RIA/WIN. Here's one on the Johnson Rifle.

Guys check these files out and if you can post some data to it. Without your input the History of the M1 Garand over time will be lost.[IMG]

Thanks again

Very interesting letter! I agree with you on preserving the history of these, and all U.S. firearms. The Johnson has been at the top of my list for a long time as the rifle i'd most like to own. It is a very interesting piece of equipment with many innovative features. I've never fired one, but have heard they were liked by most of the Navy members who used them.

Not a very good pic, but here's some info. A search of "1941 Johnson rifle" will bring up a lot of sites for more info.
