Got my SA SG Garand this week

I'm gone most of the week out on the road and the wife called me tuesday to tell me that my Garand came. It shipped monday and came tuesday. Looks real good. Looks like a new stock. Havent really checked the other parts except for taking out the trigger group and its an HRA 6528290. The reciever is a Springfield with a sereal number of 2105xxx. Going to have to study up on this thing now and clean it. Appears to be pretty clean with just some oil on it.

Haven't really had it apart yet, except for checking out the trigger group. Going to have to totaly dis-assemble it and give it a good cleaning; although it looks pretty clean. Won't happen this weekend, though. Need to do it when I have more time to spend with it. Hopefully I can get to it next weekend.
