Thanks for the input Ben I appreciate that.

And thanks for your advice Orlando I really do value your opinion. I do have a lot of rifles and ammo. That is how I learned about corrosive ammo and what to do to clean up after it. Shooting 7.62x54r I could not find ammo for a long time that wasnt corrosive. So found out what to do about it.

Roysclockgun this is what I run into all the time on here. Some go balistic about corrosive ammo. It seems they dont understand what it is. If you clean the rifle properly after shooting it is not a huge deal. Some go to the range with a gun or two. I go with 10 to 15 rifles. Some shoot a box or two of rounds. I shoot 200 to 1000 at a sitting.

Have to agree Glen. The old corrosive is usually more accurrate than non if its milsurp.
