just close bolt on a patch fill with window washer fluid be sure it doesnt leak on outside finish it will remove the blue. let it sit for an hour or so. clean with shooters choice solvent then oil it. take it out and fire it a ew time then clean it normally. I had a mauser that had some corrosive ammo shot thru it and the borrower did not clean it, I followed those steps and it looks like new in the bore. I found a cap and ball revolver at a garage sale that looked like a rusted hulk soaked it in washer fluid removed all rust and blueing and reblued with a cold blue and it looks perfect and fires perfect.

Phrogg, I can only hope for two things; one that you really meant to say your X-friend, and two that you will heed some of the good advice I have read in this post and dump that loser where he needs to be, alone on the street. He will betray you again and perhaps hurt or enjure a loved one or you. He is bad news. Just MHO Snuffy
