Fn surplus ammo?

Hello M1 forum, I have a M1 I bought in December, got some ammo for her off of gunbroker.
I'm just wondering if its safe to use in my rifle.
Here is the item page on gunbroker: http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIte...Item=115884696
The ammo has the FN logo on the boxes and some of the bullets have a slight black tarnish, anyone know about this FN ammo?

Looks good to go for me; I didn't notice anything wrong with the cases. Is there any sign of significant corrosion on the brass.

FN ammunition is usually of good quality.

I would have no hesitation in firing it in your gun.

Awesome then!, there does not appear to be any significant corrosion on the brass, its pretty clean, the copper jacket on the bullets is the only corrosion.
I will definately make sure to clean out the bore after firing though.

That is quality surplus ammo that you have. Ihave shot it in the past and it is pretty accurate.

Welcome aboard.

Thumbs up

I agree - Welcome to the board.
I've still got some 50s vintage FN, both in 20 rd boxes and in stripper clips, burried around here some where. I bought a case of both some years back.
Works good in both my Garand and BAR.
It IS, however Corrosive so clean your rifle good.
