M1 Will Get Its Chance

When I return to the hunting camp Saturday afternoon following the cold front, I will be taking my 1944 Winchester M1 Garand. I took a 6 point Wednesday with my M1A so now the Garand and the M1903 will get their chance.
I would really like to take one with the M1 and I really expect to do just that next week.
The M1 needs to hunt again since the last time it went hunting was 65 years ago.

Hunted with a Guy a while back that his deer rifle was an M1 Tanker. Can't argue with that!

That 03 needs it's chance. I hunted many years with an 03A3

Taking mine out this year- hoping I can snag one with it... need to get better with the sights though. Don't want to have a slip and it fly into a back leg (doesn't usually happen but I have been known to have mystery bullets on the range with it )...
