M-14 Star Lite

First 2 pics I took pic of friend of mine. We just got off perimeter guard, picture taking time. Stayed around 150 until I retired from P.D. gained 50 lbs overnight. Heres a good one of me with a 14 with Leatherwood scope, Quan Loi Viet Nam 1968. Fellow in 1st 2 picture, talked me into buying really nice camera when I got there. He now lives in Eugene Oregon. Found him about a year ago on Classmates.com.

Heres my modest SA Standard Loaded with NM/SS barrel. Nightforce NXS 3.5x15x15/NP-R1 Reticle scope with Sadlak NM recoil spring guide rod and scope mount and NF rings. Still the factory stock...am saving up for the JAE-100 G2 stock, sometime this summer and refinishing a 50 year old Springfield US Armory walnut stock from Fred's, should be done in a few weeks. She's a work in progress...but she's getting 3/4 inch groups now with out the bedding.
